Tax-Exempt Status

A Blessings In Disguise Recovery & Re-Entry Foundation is committed to transparency and responsible stewardship of all funds received. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued.

What to include in the Refund Policy

 Donations

All donations made to A Blessings In Disguise Recovery & Re-Entry Foundation are considered voluntary contributions to support our mission and programs.

Because donations are immediately allocated toward program services, housing support, and operational expenses, donations are generally non-refundable.

However, refunds may be considered in the following situations:

  • Duplicate donation

  • Incorrect donation amount entered in error

  • Unauthorized transaction (must provide documentation)

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the donation date.

  • Donor name

  • Date of transaction

  • Amount

  • Transaction receipt or confirmation number

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.

 

Event Tickets

Event tickets purchased for fundraising events are non-refundable unless:

  • The event is canceled by the organization

  • The event is rescheduled and the attendee cannot attend the new date

If an event is canceled, a full refund will be issued or the donor may choose to convert their ticket purchase into a donation.

Program Fees (If Applicable)

If any program participation fees are required in the future, refund eligibility will be determined according to the specific program agreement signed at enrollment.

Sponsorship Contributions

Corporate sponsorships and major gifts are governed by written agreements. Refunds for sponsorships are not permitted once funds have been allocated or services rendered unless otherwise stated in a signed agreement.

 Processing Fees

Please note that transaction processing fees charged by third-party payment processors (such as PayPal or Stripe) may not be refundable.
